ANOTHER SOUTH EAST LONDON TEENAGER KILLED IN BLACKHEATH KNIFE STABBING

A murder probe has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death in the street in south-east London.

The 19-year-old man was attacked and stabbed in Blackheath on Wednesday night.

Medics treated him for stab wounds at the scene in Hervey Road before he was rushed to hospital where he later died, police said.

He was found collapsed in the street near to the junction with Begbie Road at about 8.10pm and emergency services were alerted.

A witness on social media said a playing field nearby had been sealed off by police.

 

The victim is thought to be the seventh teenager killed in the capital since the start of 2017.

 

Scotland Yard said his next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem would be arranged.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

There have been no arrests.
