The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended 2 of its Governors
Ogun state’s – Ibikunle Amosu and Rochas Okorocha of Imo state were both suspended from the party after a decision unanimously taken at the NWC meeting on Friday afternoon in Abuja.
Both governors had allegations of “anti-party activities” levelled against them.
The NWC also recommended the expulsion of both governors from APC to the national executive committee (NEC).
Amosun and Okorocha were both elected senators on the platform of APC on Saturday but they are both backing different candidates for the March 2 governorship election.
