Nigerian traditional talking drummer AYAN De FIRST has scored a new record by being the first ever African drummer to lead a BOXER into the fighting ring.
British Congolese Isaac Chamberlain 22, has contracted the world famous drummer to play him into the ring – a display of which none like it has ever been seen in British sporting history.
Chamberlain will be facing Lithuanian Borucha at York Hall Bethnal Green Old Ford Road London E2 9PJ at a match that will be shown live on Sky sport channel 401 tonight.
This will make yet another appearance for Ayan on a British Television channel. In 2014 he appeared on the Channel 4 programme “Come Dine With me”
He has also performed for Prince Charles and Camilla at Buckingham Palace as well as at the House of Commons. Last week, he led the group of Yoruba well wishers who welcomed the Ooni of Ife to Heathrow Airport as he arrived for his Historical visit to the UK.
The excited talking drummer said about tonight’s event “Showcasing my Cultural Heritage at unusual places delights me. It’s all about my Cultural Heritage”
