One of the richest men in the world and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates is on a visit to Kaduna State.

Gates, also a co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is in the state to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dangote Foundation on Routine Immunization. He was received by Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai and Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal.

In June 2015 the Yobe state government partnered with Dangote and the Melinda and Bill Gates foundations to support and strengthen routine immunization across the state.
