President Muhammadu Buhari praised Nigerians in the diaspora for the financial support they give to their families back home in Nigeria.
Speaking in a special meeting that was witnessed by the APC UK press secretary, Adenike Lucas, at the Kensington Close Hotel after discussing with world leaders about the refugee crisis in Syria, President Buhari acknowledged the large amount remitted from the Diasporans adding that: “it was a great help to the country”
“You support your families by paying school fees, medical bills and even giving them feeding allowance … and I thank you for your sacrifice to your country.”
