US-Nigerian Graduate Shot Dead At Gas Station Weeks After Starting New Job

25 year old Alexander Nwogu was killed just weeks after he started working at a consulting firm in Northern Virginia.

A police report said Nwogu suffered blunt trauma to the back of his head and a single gunshot wound to the middle of his back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We are exploring the possibility,” said Brianna Jordan, spokeswoman for D.C. police. She said detectives “are very early in the investigation.” Police said robbery is a possible motive in both incidents.

Alexander graduated in May with a bachelors of science in industrial and systems engineering degree.

D.C. police say a $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Nwogu’s death.

High School Senior Caught Molesting 7 Year Old Child On Zoom

Catrell Walls, 18, is charged for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl during remote learning on Thursday.

The 7yo had muted the video for class, but the video could still be seen.

Once the teacher yelled out the students name, the video was shut off.

Apparently the teenager was not aware there was a class going on on her laptop when he started to molest her in full view of her entire class and teacher.

According to court information, this has been happening for a least a year and the 7yo was told to keep this a secret.

Walls says he doesn’t know why he did this, he’s already facing a previous felony which he’s on bond for having an illegal gun.

The judge ordered NO BAIL!

Walls is related to the child.

Walls is charged with a felony count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under 13, Chicago police said.

Walls was seen via an online learning application forcing the child to perform oral sex at around 1:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the home and took him into custody. The girl was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital.

And The Nobel Prize For Peace Winner 2020 – Is Not Trump

American President Donald Trump has been denied this years Nobel Prize for Peace.

Trump had earlier boasted about his shocking nomination by Norwegian far-right MP, named Christian Tybring-Gjedde, as a badge of acceptance and approval of his handling of the Coronavirus Pandemic and for normalising relations between Isreal and the United Arab Emirates.

However, the The Norwegian Nobel Committee decided instead to award the Prize to the United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP). This the organisation said was for the UN’s efforts to combat hunger, for its contribution to bettering conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and for acting as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict.

The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation addressing hunger and promoting food security. In 2019, the WFP provided assistance to close to 100 million people in 88 countries who are victims of acute food insecurity and hunger. In 2015, eradicating hunger was adopted as one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The WFP is the UN’s primary instrument for realising this goal. In recent years, the situation has taken a negative turn. In 2019, 135 million people suffered from acute hunger, the highest number in many years. Most of the increase was caused by war and armed conflict.

The coronavirus pandemic has contributed to a strong upsurge in the number of victims of hunger in the world. In countries such as Yemen, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, South Sudan and Burkina Faso, the combination of violent conflict and the pandemic has led to a dramatic rise in the number of people living on the brink of starvation. In the face of the pandemic, the World Food Programme has demonstrated an impressive ability to intensify its efforts. As the organisation itself has stated, “Until the day we have a medical vaccine, food is the best vaccine against chaos.”

The Nobel Prizes most years are presented to recipients in Stockholm and Oslo in December. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the committees are changing their approaches. Some of the events in Stockholm will be cancelled in favour of a digital ceremony for the Nobelists, and medals and diplomas are to be distributed to the recipients’ embassies and handed over in their home countries. Recipients may be invited to the award ceremony for 2021, if possible.

AMERICA REDEFINES… II.. “StandBack and StandBy”

By Ivor Ekpe

IF there is ever a sign of an existential threat, it lays in that phrase above.

DONALD TRUMP had only ONE Strategy, if you can call it that, for the 1st Presidential Debate just ended, DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTION as asked.

A raucous debate, and I have staged many, FAILED on many fronts.

  1. Tried as he did, The Moderator came up short. One could probably understand as he was faced with a DONALD TRUMP who had no answers and sought to disrupt as much as he was allowed to.

  2. TRUMP evidently has Limited Vocabulary. The practiced words like ‘Phenomenal’, ‘Tremendously’, ‘Many’, married with ‘a lot of People’ filled the air amidst all the noise.

  3. TRUMP MUST think Americans are STUPID and UNEDUCATED.. I wonder what gives him that impression..

HOWEVER, embarrassing as this was, the most telling moment was when asked to condemn White Supremacist Groups and others, he released THE BOMBSHELL.

Shape it anyway you like, THAT is a glimpse of what Americans should prepare for.

Blame it on how this may be interpreted by any such groups, in a bid to deflect from TRUMP, these groups have had their GASLIGHT.

Like previous statements which have ‘encouraged’ such groups, do not be surprised if the next few weeks throws up MORE of what led to the Social Justice protests we have seen so far.

This begs the question. Is DONALD TRUMP and anyone else the SPONSOR of the increasing and yet-to-come RACE CLASHES?

Alarmist as it may seem to some, I for one would not be surprised.

QUESTION. Let us agree with DONALD TRUMP for a minute. He believes the Electoral Process is FRAUDULENT and RIGGED and FAULTY already, even BEFORE the elections.

THEREFORE, Will DONALD TRUMP accept a WIN, if he wins, facilitated by a FRAUDULENT, RIGGED and FAULTY Electoral process?

OR the SAME Electoral System will NO LONGER be FRAUDULENT, RIGGED and FAULTY as long as he wins?

VERY NIGERIAN. Somebody please check his DNA.

SO, I personally look forward to the VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE on the 8th of OCTOBER between the Sapiosexual’s DREAM GIRL versus DAMIEN’s GRANDAD..

This one was a mess.

“StandBack…StandBy’.. phew!

Such a great time to be in, and come from a Sh%#hole country.

#Goodmorning

Texas Based Nigerian Woman In $1.9m Paycheck Protection Program Fraud

A Texas woman has been taken into custody on allegations she fraudulently obtained more than $1.9 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian C. Rabbitt of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick of the Southern District of Texas.

Lola Shalewa Barbara Kasali, 22, of Houston, is charged with making false statements to a financial institution, wire fraud, bank fraud and engaging in unlawful monetary transactions.

She is expected to make her initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Christina Bryan in Houston at 2:00 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) guarantees PPP loans under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The criminal complaint, unsealed today, alleges Kasali submitted at least two fraudulent PPP loan applications – one on behalf of an entity called Lola’s Level and the other in the name of Charm Hair Extensions.

Kasali allegedly received more than $1.9 million in PPP loan funds following the approval of the Lola’s Level application. The charges allege that after receiving the funds, Kasali transferred the money into four additional bank accounts. Authorities were later able to seize the funds, according to the charges.

The loan applications allegedly asserted both Charm Hair Extensions and Lola’s Level had numerous employees and significant payroll expenses. According to the charges, however, neither entity has employees nor pays wages consistent with the amounts claimed in the loan applications.

The CARES Act is a federal law enacted March 29. It is designed to provide emergency financial assistance to millions of Americans who are suffering the economic effects resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

One source of relief the CARES Act provides is the authorization of up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses for job retention and certain other expenses through the PPP. In April 2020, Congress authorized over $300 billion in additional PPP funding.
The PPP allows qualifying small businesses and other organizations to receive loans with a maturity of two years and an interest rate of one percent. Businesses must use PPP loan proceeds for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent and utilities.

The PPP allows the interest and principal to be forgiven if businesses spend the proceeds on these expenses within a set time period and use at least a certain percentage of the loan towards payroll expenses.

Trump Administration Diverted $4m From 9/11 First Responders’ Fund

A new report accuses the Trump administration of siphoning almost $4 million away from a fund supporting the 9/11 first responders.

According to documents obtained by the New York Daily News, the Treasury Department began withholding parts of payments intended to cover medical services for firefighters, paramedics and emergency medical technicians suffering 9/11-related illnesses.

These first responders who inhaled smoke and dust at Ground Zero in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, which killed almost 3,000 Americans, have suffered illnesses including cancers and systemic autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, in the almost two decades since.

The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOHS) oversees the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program. The Daily News reports that the Treasury started keeping some of the money earmarked for this program — to the tune of about half a million dollars each year in 2016 and 2017, and $630,000 each year in 2018 and 2019. And the Treasury has nearly tripled these extractions this year, withholding $1.447 million through late August, according to Dr. David Prezant, the program director.

This was disappearing — without any notification,” Prezant, who is also the FDNY’s Chief Medical Officer, told the Daily News. “Here we have sick World Trade Center-exposed firefighters and EMS workers, at a time when the city is having difficult financial circumstances due to COVID-19, and we’re not getting the money we need to be able to treat these heroes.”

Adding insult to injury was that they weren’t given a heads-up about any cuts, he said. “And for years, they wouldn’t even tell us — we never ever received a letter telling us this,” he said.

When Republican Sen. Peter King from Long Island asked the NIOHS and Department of Health and Human Services for an explanation, however, he learned that some other agencies in New York City has been at odds with the federal government over Medicare bills. This resulted in money being cut from the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program to cover the delinquent Medicare debt of these other entities.

The Treasury Department confirmed in an email to MarketWatch that it has been in contact with King, and it is also working with New York City’s Department of Finance to get this resolved
