The current Nigeriar Senate has being described as being more serious than the previous House.
This commendation was given by a senior political commentator Prof Alabama Ogunsanwo.on Channels TV, Lagos, while answering questions regarding the ongoing screening of President Buhari’s minsterial nominees.
The Professor who is also a former Nigerian High Commissioner in Belgium and professor of Political Science at Leads Universdity Ibadan, also suggested that the President should consider himself very lucky that his Senators are acting with miimum fuss, political wranglings and partisan bias in their consideration of the nominees up for screening.
So far, 18 ministerial nominees including Former Lagos State Governor Fasola and former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi have been been passed approved by the Senate screening exercise.
