Frank Bruno, a former heavyweight champion of the world is a true legend of British boxing.
A gentle giant beloved for his unmistakeable laugh; now looks every ounce of lean muscle the prizefighter of yesteryear.
Bruno, now aged 54, looked in fantastic shape as he trained with another former Boxing Champion Ricky Hatton.
Hatton, who is now a trainer, put Bruno through a vigorous session, working his old friend hard with the pads (in the sky blue of his beloved Manchester City FC) and leaving him drenched in sweat.
Bruno posed for a picture with Hatton with his son, Campbell, and looked happy to be back showing off the ringcraft that saw him beat Oliver McCall to win the WBC heavyweight belt at Wembley in 1995.
But it was Bruno’s physique that caught the eye – his muscular torso and bulging veins would be the envy of most men in their 20s, let alone one in his mid-50s.
Hatton, meanwhile, was pictured afterwards munching on a pie. ‘Another great day today @HattonGym. WE all worked our socks off & put the work in,’ he joked on Twitter.
