One of the most popular female MCs on the London-Nigeria’s social scene Folayemi Yemzy recently celebrated her 46th birthday in style.
The socialite who is also a fully qualified NHS Nurse and a well-known philanthropist joined the band of people embracing the “new way” of doing things as a result of the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the ensuing lockdown which has caused a change in popular culture and habits. Many people now simple hold garden parties with intimate gatherings of close friends and family. This is in contrast to the owambe jamborees that was previously the hallmark of the Nigerian community in London.
Folayemi also known as Simply Yemzy is the founder of Sickle Cell Champions. She is using the occasion of her birthday to raise funds for Sickle Cell and Young Stroke Survivors Charity.
We wish the sweet bubbly lady a very happy birthday.
