Police are appealing for witnesses and the driver of a lorry to contact them following a fatal collision in Greenwich.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 15:07hrs on Tuesday, 2 February to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian on Bugsby’s Way, SE10.
The man, believed to be aged in his early 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 15:12hrs.
Next of kin have been informed. Formal identification is yet to take place.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
Officers would like to speak with the driver of a silver lorry that was seen leaving the location.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Greenwich via 101.
Enquiries continue. There have been no arrests.
