A man is still missing after Saturday’s attack on London Bridge.

French national Xavier Thomas, 45, was in London with his girlfriend and were walking over London Bridge at the time of the attack.

Mr Thomas may have been hit by the van and thrown in the River Thames, witness accounts suggest, and his girlfriend was seriously injured after she was hit by the vehicle.

Specialist officers from the Marine Police Unit and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) have been searching the river since the attack, where men hit pedestrians in their van on the bridge before running into Borough Market and stabbing a number of people.
