WHEN a daughter managed to track her dad down after 20 years, she never expected their meeting to end in horror.
The young woman, from Melbourne, Australia, was “just so excited” when she managed to trace her dad in Queensland in 2014.
Although she had heard rumours about his history of violence, she decided to invite him to stay with her family.
The 38-year-old man travelled to visit his daughter with his son and partner, staying in the spare room.
When they arrived, the daughter was thrilled to finally meet her dad.
She said: “This was the first time meeting my father.
“He was happy to see me too. I was just so excited and happy to finally meet my real dad.”
The happy feeling soon turned to horror when the dad and daughter were left home alone together.
The relationship took a sinister turn when the dad said: “Give dad a hug” before kissing her on the neck and groping her.
She pushed him off her, and angrily said: “If you’re gonna be like that, you may as well take me to your bedroom”.
Horrifically, the dad then said “I love you forever” before raping his own daughter.
In court, the woman described the shocking ordeal.
She explained: “I didn’t say anything or do anything.
“I felt I had to co-operate and not say anything. I was worried I might get hurt. I thought that if I tried to stop him, he would get angry.”
After the assault, she explains: “I felt gross that it was my Dad. I just wanted to get in the shower as I felt so dirty.”
When the woman’s husband returned home, the pair immediately rang the police.
Initially, the dad denied the accusations, telling police: “She made me have sex with her… I tried to say no. I didn’t want to lose her.”
After further interrogation, the dad pleaded guilty and was jailed for incest for four years.
