NIGERIAN EMBASSY IN LONDON GETS NEW ACTING HIGH COMMISSIONER

Mr Adah Simon Ogah, former Head of the Information, Culture and Sports Section at the High Commission, assumed duty as the acting Nigeria High Commissioner to United Kingdom on 21st December, 2015.

Mr Ogah holds a Master Degree in International Law & Diplomacy obtained from the University of Lagos in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree obtained from the University of Jos in 1981. He joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in August 1982 and has served at various times in Kampala, Uganda; Windhoek, Namibia; Brussels, Belgium. He attended a Diplomatic Training Course at the Malaysia Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations, Kuala Lumpur in 1999.

From 2007 – 2009, Mr. Ogah was the Deputy Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs . He is a member of the Nigeria Society of International Law and the Nigeria’s Institute of International Affairs.

Mr. Ogah, who is an avid chess player, also enjoys playing Badminton and watching lawn tennis and documentaries.

He is married with three children.
