NIGERIAN MP APPOINTED TO SHADOW CABINET

Following last week’s spate of resignations of the Labour party’s Shadow Cabinet Ministers, the leader of the UK Labour party Jeremy Corbyn has carried out a reshuffling of his cabinet and today announced the names of his new Ministers to join him on the opposition front bench in Parliament

Among the new Ministers is Nigerian British MP Kate Osamor from The Edmonton, (North East London) Constituency who is appointed   Shadow Minister, Women and Equalities. Kate worked closely with the Labour leader on his leadership campaign team lasy year and this is seen as a reward for her loyalty and hard work

Earlier this afternoon, Miss Osamor posted on her social Media wall

“Proud to announce that I have been appointed to the Labour Party Frontbench as a Junior Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities”
