Governor Ayo Fayose surely has bags of eccentricities, the latest being  the undisputed chief drummer of Ekiti State.

When he is not busy abusing Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, he is seen eating roasted plantain or bean cake by the road side, or at times drinking the local brew, palm wine with the locals.

The man who has introduced ‘stomach infrastructure'(the ration is thinning out) to the world political lexicon was captured today at the lying-in-state for General Adeyinka Adebayo, the governor of the defunct Western State, playing the drum. It was at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti, the capital.

We do not know yet how he picked up the ‘skill’ to play the drum, whether he was at any time, a member of the itinerant drummers from Oyo State.

Unfortunately, ynlike the highly unrepentant Senator Dino Melaye, we do not also have the video of Governor Fayose’s  drumming.
