The Ooni of Ife,  Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi today paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian President, Mohammadu Buhari at the State House, Aso Rock.

Arriving at exactly 1.10pm, the Ooni had his retinue of assistants with him on one that looks to be the highlight of his recent visits around the country. In recent weeks, the monarch has paid similar visits to the Awujale of Ijebuland, The Alake of Egbaland and the Alaafin of Oyo.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also present at the Presidential Villa meeting.

It has however, not been disclosed if the President or VP prostrated to the Ooni as Former President Obasanjo and King Sunny Ade previously and famously did….
