If you’ve got £140million burning a hole in your pocket, the Playboy mansion could be a good investment.
The house, which has been home to some of the most legendary parties and featured in the reality show Girls Of The Playboy Mansion, is apparently about to be put up for sale by owner Playboy Enterprises for a cool $200mil with one caveat – Hugh Hefner comes along too.
It was originally built in 1927 but became famous in the 70s for the wild parties Hef enjoyed with his bunnies and various celebs.
Good news if you’re in the mood to buy – real estate agents reckon it’s actually only worth between $60-90mil, or £41-62mil, which could bring it within your price bracket if you win the Rollover.
No word on whether any bunnies are included in the deal, but it’s said that the new owner will have to provide a home for life for 89-year-old Hef to see out his days.
For that hefty sum the place has everything you’d expect – six acres of land, a pool with a waterfall, 22 rooms, a wine cellar (important), games room, a zoo for crying out loud, tennis courts, an outdoor kitchen, a gym, barbecue area etc etc.
Prospective buyers are welcome to have a good old snoop around, except one room is off limits – Hef’s bedroom.
