The man who gives his name as Olaniran claims he came into the country possibly as a teenager with his parents who are now both deceased in 1975.
Mr Olaniran, 57, who speaks fluent Yoruba, says he attended school in Haringey but also claims to be a Doctorate Degree Holder. He said he used to be a security guard but ended up homeless when he could no longer work.
But he has since been revealed by many who have recognised him, as one of those Nigerians who frequented the popular Gullivers Night Club in the West End in the 80s. It has however been suggested that a wrong path possibly from drugs or jail following a life of crime could have cause him to end up like he has.
Niran as he is known now lives in a hostel in the Bayswater area of West London that only provides bed and breakfast. But for the rest of the day, he is on his own on t he street.
