The boyfriend of former Eastender’s actress suspected of her murder has admitted killing her because she was already dying from a terminal illness.

Answering questions from Ghaniain authorities where he is being held after he was apprehended last week, Arthur Simpson-Kent said he killed the actress Sian Blake along with her two sons because “the mum was going to die and it was better for them all to die together.”

He has also allegedly not shown any remorse or regret over the killing.

He was arrested at a beach resort in Ghana shortly after fleeing the UK following the discovery the bodies of Sian, 43, Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, were found buried in the back garden of the family home in Erith, South London.

But yesterday it emerged Scotland Yard has not yet made a formal extradition request despite having four detectives in the West African country.

It is also understood they have not issued a ­warrant for his arrest in London.

Ghanaian Director General of CID Prosper Agblor suggested there would be no problem over returning Simpson-Kent swiftly to the UK adding  “Whether or not he has family ties in Ghana is not of any importance. Whether he’s Ghanaian or from the moon, he has committed a crime.”
