The GoodNews Haven Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God London UK recently celebrated their annual Multicultural day

The church which is home to over 600 members from diverse African and Caribbean cultures decided to hold the events outdoors this year. This was a fantastic idea and it couldn’t have been held on a better day.

The different cultural groups took advantage of the lovely weather all went full out to put on colourful spectacular shows and performances on the church premises that is getting a lot of people in the area talking and many more looking forward already to next year’s event

Speaking to address both church members and the several guests that attended the event, the Parish Pastor Godday Okosun, a former lecturer at the Ogun State University said that Christians are called to share the Good news of Christ to all nations He said that the body of Christ is made up of different peoples from different cultures and traditions bonded together by one common factor being the blood of Jesus and holding a multicultural day is to celebrate the unity in diversity of the different cultures that make up the body of Christ.
