Jenner and sister Kendall Jenner are attempting to copyright their first names. Both sisters filed applications to trademark their monikers in April to halt others from trying to use their names in any entertainment business-related matters.
According to TMZ, Kylie Jenner, dubbed by the real celebrity Kylie Minogue as “second class reality tv personality” wants to trademark her name for “entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture.”
Top pop star Kylie Minogue was an established actress and recording artist with her first single locomotion being released in 1988- long before the Jenner girl was born
Kylie Jenner is one of the daughters of gender confused step father of Kim Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, who now appears in public dressed as a woman and calls himself Kaitlin. Kim herself who is now married to controversial rapper Kanye West was made famous after the release of a sex video she made with her then boyfriend Ray J.
The website also reports the teenager is claiming the name for personal appearances “by a celebrity, actress and model,” and could prosecute other stars using her first name if it becomes a source of confusion.
Kylie Jenner’s older sister, Kendall, 19, is also looking to trademark her name as she continues to pursue her career as a fashion model. Jenner is looking to go by only her first name in her line of work.
This is not the first time the Kardashian clan as looked to trademark their unique names. Reportedly Kanye West and Kim Kardashian came close to the same conclusion about copyright after the birth of their daughter North West.
Looks like I have to go and trademark the title “Baroness” and call for anyone using the title to be made liable for prosecution…..
