TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher has been dumped by rugby player Danny Cipriani following a six-month romance.

The London Wasps fly-half, 28, is said to have ended his relationship with the Sky Sports beauty, 40, due to their 12 year age difference and her status as a single mother.

Danny, who has a reputation as a ladies’ man, was said to be uncomfortable that they were at different stages in life as Kirsty has two children with her ex-husband Paul Sampson, according to The Sun.

A source told the paper: ‘Kirsty was devastated but agreed it was for the best.

‘She and Danny were intense for a while but it became difficult. It didn’t help that he’s younger and she has kids.’

Kirsty’s ex-husband Paul, 38, was said to be against the relationship due to Danny’s reputation as a womaniser.

A representative for Kirsty Gallacher declined to comment to MailOnline.

The unlikely couple were said to have started dating last summer, but had only been pictured together once, at the ATP World Tennis Finals in London last November.
