Portsmouth Crown Court heard Emily collided with a person checking she was OK after she careered onto the hard shoulder.

According to the Metro, prosecutor Daniel Sawyer said: “The witness is a trained first aider and, having seen the defendant, got out to see if she was OK, went round to the driver and said, ‘I’m a first aider, have you got any issues?’”

Daniel continued: “He said, ‘I could smell alcohol, she couldn’t keep her head up as she tried to put the car in gear‘“.

Emily also asked officers whether she’d be back in time for her hen do when they bundled her into the back of their car.

Corrie also had roles in Casualty, Doctors and NY-Lon.

However, she quit acting to join the Royal Navy.
