HRH Deun Solarin
Princess Deun, is the Grand Doyenne of all the Nigerian media ladies here in London and possibly in the UK. With a career in TV broadcasting spanning 4 decades, she started out as a young journalist in 1977 when she was picked to interview late Mariam Makeba during Festac 77. She was a regular face on NTA 7 Lagos as a presenter of the show Morning Ride before she relocated to the UK in the late 80s. She currently produces and presents her show “Princess of Arize” which can be seen on Saturday mornings on Ben TV.

Yemi or Lady Paramount as she is popularly known is a regular face on BEN TV. She presents among others, the political program “You Decide” which also airs on Star TV in Lagos. Yemi also performs as Events Host and she is the founder of Voice of Hope Women Foundation

Linda is most popularly known by her stage name DJ Babylynn. She is an award winning female DJ, radio DJ and top radio presenter on Naija FM and on Urban Jazz radio UK. Linda is the CEO of Babylynn Entertainment, a well renowned Nigerian promotions company promoting artistes from all over the world.

Lola Ogunbadejo
Lola is a Presenter, Producer, Voice over artist and TV writer. She is one of the first names that come to mind when discussing Nigerian ladies in the media in London. An multi award-winning presenter Lola’s career started a few years ago, at the biggest BME television channel in Europe- OHTVThe ‘film and television studies’ graduate began her TV journey as a co-host on the popular African entertainment show ‘Afrika Rising’on ‘OHTV’.

Lola started and produced her own show in 2012 called ‘Out & About with Lola’ – a vibrant entertainment magazine show that highlights some of the hottest events happening in London and overseas – in which she interviewed high profile celebrities such as D’banj, Ice Prince, Iyanya, Banky W, Davido, Chiwetel Ejiofor. The 3rd season of ‘Out & About with Lola’ is currently airing on OH TV. Lola has written articles for prominent publications such as ‘2gether’ Magazine and ‘Wed’ Magazine. She has also written TV scripts for the cooking entertainment show ‘Naija Bites’ and many others.

Evelyn Obahor
Evelyn is the CEO of Floodlight Broadcasting Company, formerly Justeve Broadcasting Company – the producers of flagship programmes such as Hey, Let’s Talk; The Just Eve Show, My World and the talent search show, The Big Search currently in its 2nd series.

Evelyn started her career as a teenager in Jos and this has taken her through major production houses and studious such as DBN Productions, NTA, Mainframe, Silverscreen Television, FRCN where she boasts of major credits like Behind the clouds, Ti Oluwa Ni ile, Night shift, This Morning and Good Morning Lagos – to mention just a few. On returning to the UK in the 90s, she joined BEN TV the first Black TV Station in the UK where she created and presented programmes such as BEN Breakfast Show, On the feminine side and Hey, let’s talk before leaving to set up her own network.

Funmi Adeyi
Funmi (Ogunsina) Adeyi is the producer and presenter of a popular couples’ talk show on TV called Lasting Love. Lastinglove is a forum where couples discuss issues relating to love, attractions and challenges in marriage. It is aired on OHTV(Sky Channel 199), OHTV Africa, OHTV USA , AfricaMagic & Un1ty  app. She is a graduate of English (Arts) from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She lives in London and is happily married with kids.

Jummy Ariyo
Jummy also known as Baroness J started her media career at Ogun State Television Abeokuta Ogun State in 1986. She was a continuity announcer and Newscaster until she left for the UK in 1989. She reprised her role of newscaster while on career break in Nigeria between 2002 and 2005 and was given the fixed Friday evening slot of presenting the OGTV World News. Jummy recently decided to return full time to her Media profession and in 2014 set up her Media & PR outfit Baroness J Media. She is now a Blogger at BaronessJ.com and a Radio Presenter with Naija FM where she presents her weekly chat show BaronessJ’s World. She is also an Events Organiser, Venue Decorator, Marketer and PR Consultant and Co Founder of the Nigerian Events Awards UK.

Yetunde Oduwole
Yetunde Oduwole is the CEO of Bustline Media, an event organising, media marketing and awards company. She has over 20 years experience in the media, having started as a young girl of 19. She co-published the first free London lifestyle journal called “Crystals” in 2003 which made her one of the media fore-runners in the African Community in the UK. Her Bustline Brand; which started as a feminine column in 1990 has risen to become a world famous brand as well as a media company. She is the organiser of Diamond Special Recognition Awards, a global awards initiative that tours the world every year in recognition of hidden and unknown personalities behind lofty projects; as well as the celebrated.

Ronke Phillips
Ronke Phillips is a reporter and journalist in the main British media. She has been a Correspondent at ITV’s London Tonight, working on a number of special investigations including coverage of the release of the M25 three, the murder of Victoria Climbie and the July 7th bombings in London in 2005.

Ronke is also an accomplished conference facilitator and event host. She is also a freelance writer. Her articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines including the Independent, the Daily Mail, The Voice and Pride Magazine. She is a Patron of the Ebony Horse Club and a supporter of charities; the Vitiligo Society and the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust.

Mary is the presenter of Naija Bites’ an award winning entertainment cook show featuring a blend of fine Nigerian dining, with a twist of celebrity interviews.  She started modelling at 16 years old – both catwalk and print, and had the opportunity to work with some great and well known designers, magazines and fashion houses. She also works as a Red Carpet and Events’ host.

Fauntee is a writer, poet and radio personality. She is the publisher and editor in Chief of C-Hub Magazine, the first and only Afro-creative magazine  for Africans and Caribbeans in the Diaspora and at home, quarterly published in the UK. Fauntee is also the founder of Divas of Colour, the awards Project recognising and celebrating the achievements of Women of Colour worldwide. She recently started and launched her own online radio talk show “The Fauntee Show” in which she will be hosting men and women of diverse backgrounds to talk about their life experiences.
