Sultry UK Nollywood actress and producer Tolulope Yesufu has received nominations in 2 categories of the 2015 edition of the African Film Festival and Academy Awards (ZAFAA)

The ZAFAA Awards which is currently in its seventh year,  is a highly regarded and anticipated film event within the African communities and has already become a part of the UK’s annual cultural calendar. Through ZAFAA Global Awards UK, the African film plans to rebrand its movie industry with the intention of re-launching itself into the international movie market on the same level as other global movie industries.

The ZAFAA Awards boast of the following features

• ZAFAA Global trophies are made by the same company that produce the Oscar and BAFTA trophies
• The quality is made, such that artists who receive it should be proud of their work
• As well as the benefits that come with it.
• Artists generally will be rewarded in accordance with their efforts in the industry

The high profile event this year will be held at the swanky and prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on 31st October, 2015.

Highlights of the evening will include a parade of who is who in Film Making in Africa and Nigeria as set target There will also be a glamorous section for Ambassadors of goodwill, Show time, a moment with African music superstars, comedy and the Face of ZAFAA intro/run-way.

Tolulope’s nominations for Best Actress and Best producer are for the movie  “Murderer in-Law”, which she produced and starred in. “Murderer in Law” has in all, six nominations
