This Morning agony aunt Denise Robertson has lost her short battle with cancer.

The show announced the news on their Facebook page that she had sadly passed away.

The sad news was confirmed on the ITV show’s Facebook page on Friday morning.

A statement read: ‘Such sad news- our friend and colleague Denise Robertson has lost her short but determined battle against cancer. Full tribute at 10.30.’
Denise has appeared on This Morning since the show’s very first episode in 1988 giving advice and support to viewers. She revealed her cancer diagnosis in February and hinted she’d given up treatment in early March during a phone in with the show’s presenters.

She was aged 83.
