A Tennessee woman claimed that she had no money left after spending everything she had in the hopes of winning the $1.5 billion ticket. But when the winners were announced, had to face the reality that she didn’t even have enough money to go home:

Cinnamon Nicole then set up a GoFundMe page in which she asked for donations to help reimburse the money she spent on Powerball tickets.

“Please help me and my family as we have exausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like  and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW”.

Within seven hours, she had received a little over $800.But while some people have donated to her cause, others left comments questioning her for even asking. Others feel she should have spent it more wisely in the first place..

Not too bright spending money you don’t have to spend in the first place. What was wrong with spending $20 on lottery tickets and taking care of business with the rest of your money.

Anybody that sends even $1 to this ratchet’s go-gibs-me site needs their head examined.
Maybe she can flat back it and earn some money on the streets!

GoFundMe is the World’s #1 Personal Fundraising Website.

Based in San Diego and Menlo Park, GoFundMe was launched on May 10, 2010 and has quickly become the World’s #1 fundraising site for personal causes and life-events. Millions of people have raised over $1 Billion in the past 365 days alone. The beauty of GoFundMe is that it allows campaign organizers to invite others to take part in their story. Users  share their dreams, pursuits, celebrations and challenges online with crowdfunding based on the premise that people will always be eager to support others they care about. GoFundMe removes the physical barriers traditionally associated with receiving financial support from the people in our lives.

As of Friday afternoon however, Cinnamon’s ‘campaign’ had been suspended and taken off the site.
