President Donald Trump said he believes former President Barack Obama has been behind the leaks within his administration and the sizable, angry town hall crowds Republicans have faced across the country.
Trump was asked in an interview on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” if he believed Obama was responsible for the town hall protests against Republicans this month.
“It turns out his organization seems to do a lot of these organizing to some of the protests that these Republicans are seeing around the country against you.
Do you believe President Obama is behind it and if he is, is that a violation of the so-called unsaid presidents’ code?” Trump was asked.
“No, I think he is behind it. I also think it is politics, that’s the way it is,” Trump replied.
President Trump accused former President Obama for being responsible for the leak withinthe new administration
Trump then discussed the leaks that have disrupted his first month in office.
“You never know what’s exactly happening behind the scenes. You know, you’re probably right or possibly right, but you never know,” Trump said in the interview, a clip of which was released Monday night. “No, I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it. And some of the leaks possibly come from that group, which are really serious because they are very bad in terms of national security.
But I also understand that is politics. In terms of him being behind things, that’s politics. And it will probably continue.”
Trump did not offer any evidence for his claim in the clip released by Fox Monday night.
CNN has reached out to Obama’s office for comment.
A broad coalition of groups including Organizing For Action, the SEIU, MoveOn.org and the Center for American Progress have been working to help with grassroots organizing around GOP town halls.
Organizing for Action, the group formed from Obama’s campaign organization, has 14 professional organizers, for example, who are involved in teaching local activists skills to effectively vocalize opposition to the GOP’s top agenda items.

Earlier this month, Trump told Fox News that reports of his calls with the leaders of Mexico and Australia were caused by leaks from “Obama people.”
Trump’s administration has been beset by leaks within his administration to the media, and he has continually railed against those doing the leaking and the media since taking office. He has said the leaks are damaging to national security.
Approval ratings for the President’s job performance have been at historic lows. A recent Quinnipiac University survey found that 55% of American voters disapprove of Trump’s performance.
But the President said he would give himself an “A” in achievement but in messaging a “C or C plus.”
“In terms of messaging, I would give myself a C or a C plus,” Trump said. “In terms of achievement I think I’d give myself an A. Because I’ve done great things, but I don’t think we’ve explained it well enough to the American people.”
The President also gave himself an “A” for “effort.”
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has unveiled a public-private partnership industrial plan valued at $20 billion dollar for development of gas-based industries in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region.
Tagged the Gas Revolution Industrial Park, GRIP, Mr. Osinbajo, according to his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, disclosed the industrialization plan at the State House, Abuja on Monday when he met with the project development partners, a consortium of “Fortune 500 companies like the GSE&C of South Korea, the China Development Bank, Power China and several others global operators from Asia and the United Arab Emirates in the Middle-East.”
GRIP is located at Ogidigben, Delta State, and envisaged to be a regional hub for all gas-based industries, Mr. Osinbajo said. He added that it sits on 2700 hectares with fertilizer, methanol, petrochemicals, & aluminium plants located in the park that has already been designated as a Tax Free Zone by the FG.
“Under the plan presented today by the consortium to the Acting President, about $20 billion would be invested to develop the Gas Revolution Industrial Park, and generating 250,000 direct and indirect jobs in the process.

The Legend Celebrates Another Year
“The industrial park would be a cluster for several industries in one location benefiting from an efficient, cost-competitive and abundant supply of natural gas, proximity to a deep sea port and centralized utilities, & services such as uninterrupted power, world class telecommunications and processed water.
“The park, originally conceived by NNPC, is located about 60km from Warri, and is about 1km away from the operational base of Chevron Nigeria Limited. It will be connected to over 18 trillion Cubic Feet of gas reserves in fields such as Odidi, Okan, Forcados, located within a 50km radius. It is equally planned that the park will be connected to Nigeria’s most dominant gas pipeline network-ELPS, enabling supply of gas to and from the park,” the office further explained.
Mr. Osinbajo was quoted as saying: “we already have a Steering Committee in place, chaired by the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and that shows the level of our commitment. We are unwavering.
“We take the project very seriously and glad to see you are committed and ready to make several other commitments. This is a process that we intend to see happen.”
He was said to have stressed the Buhari Administration’s “unwavering commitment” to the Niger Delta region, many parts of which the acting president just visited as part of the administration’s bid to engage the volatile oil-producing region.
He said his visits to the Niger Delta communities had been mandated by President Muhammadu who is on extended medical leave in the United Kingdom before he travelled in January.
The building of an industrial gas hub in Ogidigben, Delta State was one of the feedbacks that was received during the visit to the state, he said.
In his remarks at the meeting, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, was quoted as expressing confidence that “the GRIP will bring the much needed succour to the people of the Niger Delta, and the oil-producing states.”
The development partners were led by Mohammed Bayo, a UAE Sheik, who was said to have expressed commitment to the project. NNPC boss, Maikanti Baru, was also said to be at the meeting.

The maker of Nokia phones has unveiled its much-anticipated new 3310 – a revamp of one of its most successful models.
The device, which first came out in 2000 and was discontinued five years later, was known for its long battery life, indestructible nature and popular Snake game, with 126 million units produced.
The updated version, costing €49 (£41) and going on sale later this year, will have a battery that lasts a month on standby mode – compared to around 11 days in the original.
Standby time is defined as the amount of time a fully-charged phone can be left on waiting for a call or text message.
It will have 22 hours of talk time – 10 times more than the original – and for Snake fans it will again feature the classic game.
It offers 2.5G connectivity, meaning the user can only get basic internet on the handset and there is no Wi-Fi.
HMD Global, owner of the Nokia brand, said the new model is aimed at those looking for a second or so-called “burner” phone to make calls and send texts.

The 3310 will come in a range of colours, including the original navy blue as well as red, yellow and grey.
The new version features a colour screen instead of monochrome and is slightly thinner than the original.
There had been rumours for weeks that the company would announce the comeback at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and that is what happened on Sunday.

The firm also showed off a new line of mid-range modern smartphones.
They included the Nokia 6, which the company released in China at the start of the year, as well as a limited edition gloss version called the Arte Black – alongside the new Nokia 5 and Nokia 3.
The company hopes the new phones, which will go on sale in the second quarter – at a date to be confirmed between April and June – will improve its fortunes.
London, England – March 22, 2016: Nokia 3310 Mobile Phone, First Introduced in September 2000, It was one of Nokia’s most successful models.
HMD Global chief executive Arto Nummela said: “Nokia has been one of the most iconic and recognisable phone brands globally for decades.
“In the short time since HMD was launched into the market, the positive reception we’ve had has been overwhelming; it seems everyone shares our excitement for this next chapter.”
Nokia once dominated the mobile phone market but was overtaken by Apple and Samsung as its popularity waned.
In 2014, Nokia sold its by-then ailing handset operations to Microsoft for $7bn.
Then last December HMD, a new company led by ex-Nokia executives and backed by Chinese electronics giant Foxconn, took over the Nokia feature phones business.
And it struck a licensing deal that gave it sole use of the Nokia brand on all phones and tablets for the next decade.
