Craig David pressed rewind when he returned to the stage for The X Factor final.
The singer made an epic comeback last night on the show where he performed a duet with finalists Reggie N Bollie.
The trio teamed up for David’s classic hit song Re-Rewind, the track Craig originally performed with garage act Artful Dodger.
After the performance, an excited Reggie said: ‘Can you imagine Reggie N Bollie performing alongside Fuse ODG and Craig David?!’
Ever since they started working together four years ago on the Xtra Factor, rumours of a romance have plagued Olly Murs and Caroline Flack – and their chemistry continues to sizzle on the main show.
Many fans desperately want the pair to get together and Caroline has admitted that they very nearly did in the early days.
Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, she revealed: ‘There was a time where we nearly did have sex. It happened at the first Judges Houses, four years ago. We had a lot of fun after filming and Olly was like, “I’ll come see you in your room” and I thought, “Oh my God, is it happening?
But nothing. We didn’t even snog. I don’t know whether we were just waiting for each other to make the first move. Maybe. But nothing happened.’
So close – and yet so far away. Now that they are working closer than ever, could there be a chance that history could repeat and they could pick up where they left off?
Well, no, not likely, according to Caroline. She added: ‘Once you’ve gone through that ‘almost’ phase you know it’s never going to happen. People say we’re like Ross and Rachel from ‘Friends’, but we’re more like Joey and Rachel. Together as a couple it would just be so wrong.’
So, that’s that then!
Ben Haenow returned to The X Factor on Saturday night, a year after he was crowned winner on the show.
He took to the stage to perform with Leona Lewis, who won back in 2006, and their duet featured Slamming Doors and her version of Snow Patrol’s Run.
However, Ben is going to be cringing when he watches back his performance as he managed to produce the worst singing note, possibly ever by a professional singer.
One of the best performances to come out of the X Factor final surprisingly wasn’t by the contestants.
Fleur East and Little Mix teamed up for a mash-up of Black Magic and Sax, and they pretty much blew the roof off.
Move over McBusted, there’s a new supergroup in town.
The finalists gave incredible performances, with Che duetting with Rod Stewart, Louisa Johnson singing with her mentor Rita Ora, and Reggie N Bollie having not one, but two guests in the form of Craig David and Fuse ODG.
But unfortunately for them it was Fleur East and Little Mix’s duet that seemed to steal the show.
Simon Cowell says Adele agreeing to perform during the X Factor final is “the best news I’ve had all year”.
Cowell said: “It took me a while to make up my mind whether we really wanted her or not … are you kidding? When we got the news and I had to keep quiet last weekend! This is the best news I’ve had all year. She is absolutely going to cap off what I hope is going to be an amazing weekend, and actually it’s really the best of British.”
One Direction took to the stage one last time with two emotional performances.
One Direction took it back to where it all began by appearing on The X Factor for their last live performance.
The band are taking a break next year, and said goodbye to their adoring fans with performances of their tracks Infinity and History.
And there wasn’t a dry Directioner eye in the house when the boys shared a group hug on stage after singing together for the last.
Simon Cowell thanks the lads – Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne – for their hard work over the years.
He said: ‘This takes me back five years ago when I met five guys singing as solo artists and I never could have predicted what happened next. It’s been five years, you deserve the break.
‘I want to say thank you. You are five of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.0

Louisa Johnson was crowned The X Factor’s 2015 winner on Sunday night, but it wouldn’t be a final without some form of fix claims.
The latest concerning torches lit by the SSE Arena audience during Louisa’s performance of the winner’s single, Forever Young.
According to some people in attendance, the audience were told only to light the torches during the 17-year-old’s rendition of Bob Dylan’s classic song, not Reggie ‘N’ Bollie’s. Some believed that by telling the audience to only use the torches for Louisa meant they already knew who would be the eventual winner.
“We were all given torches at the beginning, but were told to use them for Louisa’s performance..” one audience member twitted.
IT MIGHT have been The X Factor grand final tonight but Rita Ora made sure that all eyes were on her as she donned an eye-catching gown for the last live show of the year.
The 25-year-old Poison singer wore a silver metallic floor-length gown that showed off her cleavage, giving a busty display. The dress was backless, showing off her tattoos.
Her blonde locks were down in a natural ‘do and hung about her bare shoulders as she kept the accessories to a minimum and let the dress do the talking. There were also some cut-out panels that showed off the star’s toned abs. But the flesh-flashing didn’t end there are she had a sheer skirt that gave a sneaky peek at her pins.
Meanwhile fellow judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini went for another dramatic red number that oozed with old school Hollywood glamour.
Her strapless number featured a flared skirt that added to the oomph and teamed her dress with some matching rouge lipstick.
Cheryl wore diamond-encrusted jewelery with her sensational gown, that graduated from rouge to burgundy.

X Factor success story Olly Murs looks on verge of tears after brutal Rita Ora snub during final
Olly looked GUTTED as fellow singer Rita overlooked his fame while plugging her final act Louisa Johnson to viewers at home
Olly Murs is one of X Factor’s major success stories – but judge Rita Ora doesn’t seem to think so.
Olly was left looking gutted as fellow singer Rita overlooked his fame while plugging her final act Louisa Johnson to viewers at home during the final.
Standing on stage with her arm around eventual winner Louisa, Rita said: “I’m so proud of her.
“I’ve watched this show and I’ve been such a fan of this show.
“But there’s only two people in my opinion that have made this impression – and that’s Leona and Louisa.”
Olly was runner-up in 2009, the show’s sixth series, and his debut album went to no2 in the UK charts.
His three subsequent albums have all gone to no1.
Forgetting all that, Rita then rubbed salt in the wound by adding: “And that’s honest.”
