Zimbabwean socialite Chelsy Davy is said to be considering giving her relationship with Prince Harry another chance after the prince wooed her again during his recent travels in Africa.

The pair, who split shortly after attending the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding in 2011, have remained friends. When she and Prince Harry separated after a tempestuous seven-year romance, she vowed to friends ‘that ship has sailed’ but friends say they are ‘openly discussing’ giving relationship another go.

Harry has enjoyed the company of a string of beautiful young women, most recently actress and model Cressida Bonas , with whom he broke up last year.

Miss Davy had a serious romance with society jeweller Charles Goode which ended in January.

Harry, who turns 31 a week today, has spoken often of his desire to settle down. And sources have confirmed that the prince, who is due to return to the UK this week after more than three months working on conservation projects abroad, met Chelsy and her family while in South Africa.

Sources close to the pair said: ‘Harry still holds a candle for her. They saw each other recently. There’s still very much something between them. He has never fallen out of love with Chelsy.’

Harry could see her again soon as he will return to Africa towards the end of the year to open a centre for HIV-affected children in Lesotho before undertaking a week-long tour of South Africa on behalf of the Government.

Could another Royal Wedding be in looming in the nearest future…?
