At some point in our personal lives, we find ourselves in the position that we need to make some life changing, life altering, life or death decisions.
At that point, if we allow ourselves, we would find all kinds of advisors and contributors who though well meaning, would have all kinds of suggestions and opinions for a situation that they are not PERSONALLY EXPERIENCING! And often times, when you choose to follow their advice and it all goes wrong and falls flat in your face, they wont be there to pick up the pieces. As a matter of fact, some of them will be the very ones who will turn around and mock you……
Please my friend, if you find yourself at a cross road and you need to make a difficult decision, let the decision be yours and yours alone.
Don’t allow yourself to be cajoled, bullied, blackmailed, forced or pushed into a decision.
Pray to God for direction and wait on Him alone to lead and guide you.
Don’t be led by other people’s emotions, passion or experience.
LET YOUR DECISION BE YOURS & YOURS ALONE
For if it turns out to be a mistake, which it rarely will if you truly listened to and followed God’s leading, it will be your mistake and your regrets alone. But you won’t have resentment, anger and bitterness towards others to deal with.
But know that if you follow God but things don’t pan out the way you expected, it will be because God wants you to learn some valuable lesson from it, which in the long run, will make you stronger and wiser.
And if it all goes well, which is always our prayer, no one else will come and claim the glory but God
